Responsibilities
- Ensure safe maintenance, repairs, and replacement of plant equipment and systems.
- Ensure maximum productivity and quality in accordance with safety, health, and fire regulations.
- Maintain and repair all equipment, buildings, and facilities.
- Troubleshoot all machinery and conveyor systems.
- Use Pick2Light systems to analyze computer system errors, enabling maintenance to make repairs and reset faults as needed.
- Establish and coordinate priority work projects and repairs.
- Provide directions, assign tasks, and oversee minor work of other personnel; report to the supervisor.
- Prepare reports, monitor maintenance schedules, and monitor employee time records.
- Review Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders and log them into Benchmark.
- Maintain parts inventory.
- Prepare schedules, oversee work activities, and perform hands-on tasks alongside team members.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
- 2+ years related experience in specialized or technical training.
- 5+ years’ experience in a maintenance environment.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

- PLC Experience.

- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

- Excellent multitasking and teamwork skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows).
- Proficient in WCS, DMS, BHS, conveyor PM, and MHE Systems.
- Office knowledge: filing, telephone system, data entry, document control, faxing, copying.
- Specialized knowledge in auditing.
- Assembly knowledge: manual assembly, inspection, documentation, visual inspection, chemical handling (degreaser, flammables, paints).
- Maintenance knowledge: painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding, remodeling, mechanical, repairing, and construction.
- Warehouse knowledge: Crown Double Reach, Crown Order Picker, Crown Dock Stacker, Raymond Dock Stocker, Raymond Pallet Runner, Raymond Order Picker, Raymond Reach, Swing Reach, and Sweeper-Propane.
- Forklift knowledge: sit-down, stand-up, high-low, and electric forklifts.
- Pallet jack knowledge: manual, electric, inventory, and pallet rider.
- Engineering/technical knowledge: gage control, calipers, and micrometers.
- Schematics knowledge: lathe, grinding, soldering, and multimeter.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM (ability to work overtime as needed).
