About the role
Maintenance Technician II positions are integral parts of the manufacturing team at Woodstream. The scope of responsibilities includes improving equipment performance, ensuring equipment availability, and maintaining uptime to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Aid Manufacturing Engineers in enhancing equipment and process performance and implement ideas to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
- Maintain equipment availability and readiness across the plant to meet production schedules and throughput rates.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
- Provide technical support to colleagues and assist in quality instruction and education.
- Maintain a safe work environment and share knowledge about safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in other areas as needed to meet Woodstream's customer needs.
Requirements
- HSD/GED required.
- Additional training/education up to a 2-year associate’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Intermediate math skills including geometry and trigonometry.
- Proficiency with various measurement tools and machining tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Skills in welding, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical/electronics, PLC programming, and setup/troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of machinery.
- Current working knowledge of electrical codes and regulations applicable to Woodstream's facility and equipment.
- High skill in reading and understanding electrical schematics and translating that knowledge to physical circuits.
- Experience in PLC and PC ladder logic programming.

Pay
Salary range: $XX - $YY per hour
Schedule
1st Shift: Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
