Responsibilities
- Verifies Preventative Maintenance work orders are properly matched to the equipment in the area.
- Follow through for accurate Countermeasures on Major Breakdown Reports
- Ensures adequate spare parts are available
- Manages any ongoing projects in the department
- Interacts with Vendors and Contractors for related work in the Department
- Understanding and implementation of a safe work environment
- Schedules shutdown work with Planners
- Aids in creation of One Point Lessons and Standard Operating Procedures for tasks necessary for more efficient repair and troubleshooting
- Ensures that department is kept in a clean 5s standard
- Works closely with Maintenance Supervisor on communicating work load and recommended improvements
- Requires On Call availability

- Technical/analytic skills
- Effective written/oral communication
- Good working knowledge of computer applications
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 5-8 years related experience including good working knowledge of PLC’s, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and welding equipment.
- Must have had an effective background in environmental safety and supervision
