Reports to: Facilities Manager • Seattle, WA • Full-Time

About the Role

Responsible for the overall maintenance of all equipment and implementation of new equipment. Work is performed in shop conditions and can exceed 100°F.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, support, and repair all production equipment.
  • Determine material, parts, and equipment needed for repair, installation, and stock.
  • Install, inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and related systems in all production and supporting departments.
  • Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
  • Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines.
  • Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools.
  • Comply with all company safety rules and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required.
  • 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance.
  • 0–1+ years of electrical experience.
  • 0–1+ years of plumbing experience.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, or lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, including excess of 100°F.
  • Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Constant exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • Constant reaching, grasping, and fine manipulation with both hands and arms.
  • Constant standing and moving.
  • Occasional bending/squatting.
  • Occasional repetitive motion.

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/industrial setting with moving machinery and equipment.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and chemical odors (monitored and regulated by EHS).
  • Temperature fluctuations based on weather and facility conditions.
  • PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, aprons, boots, respirator, etc.).

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Pay

$25.00 – $30.00 per hour, DOE
