Detained Roles & Responsibilities

• Problem solving, troubleshooting, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail, time management, organizational skills, and above-average eye-hand coordination.
• Repairing and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Calibrating and maintaining circuitry.
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
• Able to use and comprehend CMMS.

Educational Requirements

An associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a college or technical school related to this specific duty, or two years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Capabilities

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Ability to work with metric and English units, use of calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshooting production equipment, fabricate/replace any mechanical parts that break down.
• Hydraulic knowledge.
• Address immediate machine safety concerns.

$29.00 / Hour

Physical Demands

• Regularly stands and walks.
• Frequently reaches with hands and arms, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
• Sometimes sits.
• Occasionally lifts up to 60 pounds and moves more than 100 pounds using appropriate devices.
• Regular exposure to extreme heat, wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
• Work environment is usually loud.
