Maintenance Technician II

Essential Functions

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functioning.
• Inspect machines and equipment for potential issues, and address them proactively.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures.
• Use various tools and instruments to assess and repair complex systems.
• Install and set up new equipment and machinery, ensuring it operates efficiently and complies with safety standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines to maintain industry standards.
• Report any unusual occurrences, unsafe conditions, or needed repairs to supervisors or management.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Monitor and maintain proper operation of tools and machines.
• Aid in the calibration and adjustment of machines to ensure consistent product quality.

Other Duties And Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
• Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
• Assist in the accomplishment of Company goals.
• Helps other employees to accomplish Company goals.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.
• Participates in the Disaster Recovery plan as required.
