About the role
Full-time position supporting Riverplace Apartment Homes in Independence, OR. Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. This is a non-exempt role eligible for overtime pay.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs
- Turn units between residents
- Maintain common areas and property grounds
- Perform basic landscaping (mowing, trimming)
- Assist with pool maintenance
- Keep the property clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Coordinate with the property manager on priorities
- Occasional training at the central office
- Run errands for supervisors
Requirements
- 1–2+ years of maintenance experience (apartment experience preferred)
- Skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Dependable and detail-oriented
- Ability to work as a team member and independently
Physical Requirements
Requires lifting up to 50 lbs, using tools, and working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
