About the role
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a vital role in ensuring our buildings and grounds are safe, functional, and inviting. You’ll perform a variety of maintenance tasks, from plumbing and electrical repairs to HVAC and carpentry work, all while upholding high standards for quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met.
- Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
- Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management.
- Conduct advanced routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
- Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
- Inspect property and address maintenance concerns proactively.
- Assist in emergency repairs as directed by supervisors and rotate on-call for emergency maintenance.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
- Affordable housing experience is a plus.
- Must be able to participate in the emergency on-call rotation as needed.

Pay
Anticipated salary range: $21.00–$23.00 per hour. This position is non-exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay. Actual compensation may vary depending on candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and specific responsibilities. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
