Maintenance Technician II

Job Requirements

• Perform routine maintenance as assigned, including on building interior/exterior and machines, then logging preventative maintenance checks into the asset management software (QT9).
• Notify management of necessary building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance.
• Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on SMT equipment, including solder paste printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, automated optical inspection (AOI) systems, and selective soldering equipment.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and service manuals to support repair and maintenance efforts.
• Maintain tools and repair equipment in optimum working condition.
• Create Preventative Maintenance documentation for: training, communication, tracking.
• Drive to customer sites as needed to make deliveries.
• Ensure work area is kept clean and free of debris.
• Ability to work independently, while achieving daily expectations

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing
• Frequent lifting and/or moving items over 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Required Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and 2 Years of relevant building or equipment maintenance experience
• OR Associate's Degree or Technical Diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology or Electro-Mechanical & Engineering Foundations
• Facilities maintenance experience (plumbing, drywall, etc.)
• Experience using hand and electrical tools

Preferred Education and Experience

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, and machine control software
