Maintenance Technician II

CRMG is looking for a Maintenance Technician II to perform the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the buildings, landscaping, amenities, parking lot, and trash areas at the 185-unit apartment community of Center Plaza Apartments. Amenities include a fitness center and playground.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential maintenance duties including repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and janitorial tasks under guidance.
• Manage work orders using technology.
• Operate pressure washers and janitorial equipment, including handling chemicals safely.
• Lift up to 75 pounds.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Use reliable transportation to transport tools and equipment.
• Run work-related errands as needed.
• Understand and administer landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and refrain from illegal discrimination practices.

Requirements

• One (1) year in the Maintenance Technician I position or two (2) years of previous maintenance technician experience, preferably in property management for commercial or multi-family properties.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish and English preferred.
• Janitorial experience preferred.
• Motivation, time management, and ability to follow instructions working alone or as part of a team.
• Intermediate knowledge of landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall installation and repairs, and installation and repair of flooring (required).
• Possess a current and valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal communications and directions.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $24.00–$29.00/hr.

Schedule

• Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch.
• 40 contracted hours per week.
