Schedule

8:00 am – 4:30 pm (occasional weekend and night work as part of the 24-hour on-call program)

Pay

Starting at $20.00 - $32.00/hr, depending upon experience and certification.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years' experience in commercial maintenance
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment and HVAC systems
  • Intermediate experience in various trades
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Valid California driver’s license
  • Ability to pass background checks, including fitness-for-duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment references

Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled preventative maintenance in mechanical and plumbing
  • Perform skilled building and equipment repairs
  • Handle basic skilled maintenance duties in drywall, carpentry, electrical, locksmith, low voltage (fire, security), and appliance repair
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition
  • Prioritize work as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Participate in all drills and in-service meetings, as assigned
  • Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team and participate in emergency drills
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
