Maintenance Technician II - 2nd Shift - Bayport, MN

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide multi-skilled maintenance/electrical support focused on customer service, quality, cost and productivity in a TPM and CI environment
• Promote a safety culture
• Focused on developing maintenance skills and abilities
• Demonstrate respectful workplace behavior
• Continuing job-related education is required
• Operates Power Industrial Trucks (PIT)

Qualification And Skills Requirements

• Multi-skilled technician satisfied by demonstrated technical expertise in maintenance functions
• 2 year Associate Degree in a related field or equivalent past work experience
• Strong customer focus
• Basic PC skills (MS Windows)
• Must operate/be trained in the use of Power Industrial Trucks (PIT)
• Continued technical training required each year
• Basic project management skills (Elec)
• Mentor/coach/lead other technician

Physical Requirements

• Some heavy lifting required to replace motors, pumps, extruder screws, etc., at low frequency
• Equipment is provided to move / manipulate heavy components
• Occasionally squat, crawl, reach above shoulders, kneel and balance
• Requires repetitive action such as simple staring, grasping, firm grasping, and fine manipulating (includes right and left hands)
• Outside work required
• Working with various chemicals
• Working in confined space conditions
• Wearing the proper PPE
• Handling hazardous waste wearing the appropriate PPE
• Working near energized electric circuits
• Working near/on hot equipment/materials

PAY RANGE

$29.05 - $41.00

• Profit Sharing: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.
• Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
