Focused on maintaining buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping, with a specialization in parking lot striping.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site.
- Perform minor repairs and general maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems.
- Perform routine carpentry work in the repair and maintenance of buildings and offices.
- Replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment.
- Operate snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
- Ensure all equipment is working correctly and meets standards for the recon department.
- Keep all buildings clean and empty wastebaskets and trash containers.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and comply with applicable safety rules.
- Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling safe behaviors.
- Actively participate in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as moving furniture, unloading, and storing supplies.
- May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
- Operate walk-behind and ride lot striping machines.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
- Skill and knowledge to perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
- Ability to lift 1–50 pounds.
- Vision abilities including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with walk-behind and ride lot striping machines.
Pay
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $18.17 - $27.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as location and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation, including commission and/or an incentive program.
