Position Overview

This position is for a full-time Maintenance Technician I at Cochrane Village, a 96-unit affordable family community in Morgan Hill, CA. This is a tax-credit and AHP property. The responsibilities include:

• All facets of lock and key replacement/repair, including weather stripping, door and window functioning and locks.
• Performing all interior repairs related to walls and doors.
• Electrical repairs including fixtures, lights, plugs, and switches.
• Changing AC filters, checking coils, cleaning and repairing when necessary.
• Performing annual unit inspections.
• Ensuring the turnover of units in 5 days.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent, along with 2+ years of related apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• CADL, Clean DMV, and reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
