Location: Roanoke, VA

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to maximize plant reliability and production efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance, welding, fabrication, equipment installation, and equipment testing to ensure safe and effective operations.
• Support food safety, GMP, OSHA, HACCP, and FSMA requirements while maintaining an audit‑ready facility and clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; plus a 2‑year degree or educational equivalent in a technical or industrial field such as electronics, mechatronics, mechanics, welding, automation, or a related field.
• Preferred minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in flour milling, food processing, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to operate lifts, hoists, and overhead cranes.

Schedule

Full‑Time; 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM shifts, including weekends and potential holidays.
