Maintenance Technician I

About the role

Maintain and repair facilities and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform urgent repairs as needed.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for potential issues and report findings to supervisors.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• At least 2 years of related experience in facility maintenance or similar field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• First aid and CPR certification preferred.

Pay

• $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
