Maintenance Technician I

About the Role

SRG Residential, a premier third‑party multifamily property management firm that merged with Milhaus in June 2026, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician I for its 246‑unit community, The Charles, in Redmond, WA. This full‑time position offers opportunities for career growth within a nationally recognized organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform turnover and renovation work in units and respond to maintenance service requests.
• Complete internal and external repairs, including drywall, painting, fence and gate repairs, plumbing installation or repairs, appliance repairs, boiler and HVAC system service, and common‑area clean‑up.
• Provide emergency and after‑hours coverage according to the established schedule.
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines to repair or fabricate parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
• Fabricate and repair cabinets, counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
• Maintain inventory records and prepare related paperwork.
• Keep storage facilities and equipment organized and in working condition.

Qualifications

• Experience in all trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, appliances, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to perform quality work using required tools and machinery.
• Professional interaction with co‑workers, residents, and vendors.
• Knowledge of OSHA and MSDS requirements relevant to the scope of work.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong communication skills for presenting information and responding to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• High school diploma or GED, technical school training, or three to six months related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Mid‑rise building experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends (required).

Schedule

Sunday – Thursday, 9 am – 6 pm.

Pay

Salary range: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour.
