Maintenance Technician I
About the role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve various maintenance issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks
- Assist in the installation of new equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve any maintenance issues
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts
- Troubleshoot and install vacuum pumps, positive displacement pumps, centrifugal pumps, servo pumps (Hibr), AC/DC motors, and electrical components (relays, contractors, fuses, I/O modules)
- Learn and retain knowledge of the basic work instructions for all unit operations by interacting with operators and engineers as needed to support troubleshooting activities
- Collaborate with other team members to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks
- Assist in the installation of new equipment activities and repairs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of industrial experience
- Industrial Mechanic and/or Electrical training
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
- Ability to use multimeters and general instrumentation (HMI, PLCs, remote I/O, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand schematics/drawings, mechanical prints
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of CMMS (Limble)
Skills
- Microsoft Office Excel, Word, etc.
