Maintenance Technician I
Parkside Village Apartments, a 60-unit community in Medford, OR, is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain building cleanliness, landscaping, amenities, parking lot, and trash areas.
About the role
Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you will perform essential maintenance duties including repairs, carpentry, electrical, painting, landscaping, and plumbing tasks. Strong attention to detail, time management, and comfort with technology-driven work orders are essential.
Responsibilities
- Daily upkeep and cleanliness of buildings, landscaping, amenities, parking lot, and trash areas
- Assist with repairs, carpentry, electrical, painting, landscaping, and plumbing tasks
- Manage work orders using technology
- Operate pressure washers and janitorial equipment
- Handle chemicals safely
- Respond to after-hours emergencies
- Run work-related errands as needed
- Adhere to landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and non-discrimination practices
Requirements
- One year of housekeeping porter experience or one year of maintenance technician experience in property management for commercial or multi-family properties (preferred)
- Janitorial experience (preferred)
- Pool maintenance experience (preferred, if applicable)
- Basic knowledge of landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall, and flooring installation/repair
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Reliable transportation capable of transporting tools, including power washing equipment
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record
- Strong time management and ability to follow instructions independently or as part of a team
- Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal communications

Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (40 hours per week)
