Maintenance Technician I

About the role

The Maintenance Technician I at Lewis Energy Group provides basic building and premise maintenance services in various environments, including offices, industrial sites, and ranches. They are responsible for inspecting, identifying, and correcting facility, equipment, and system issues to ensure properties and systems remain in safe condition.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, identifies, and corrects facility, equipment and system problems to maintain properties and equipment in safe condition.
• Plans and schedules corrective action and preventive maintenance to repair or modify defects and maintain operating condition of facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Documents work, work orders, purchase orders, and material lists to account for materials purchased and time spent in completing work assigned.
• Requests supplies and materials needing to replace materials consumed and assures their availability for assigned projects, scheduled maintenance, and emergency responses.
• Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts modular offices and space to accommodate user needs and maximize office space.
• Traveling weekly to various properties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year related experience.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Basic computer and smart device skills.
• Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, hydraulic, and other systems.
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Able to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with local/state/federal rules and regulations for maintenance work activities.

Skills

Pay

M-F, 8am-5pm Must be able to work overtime when needed.
