About the role

As a Maintenance Technician I, you will ensure safe maintenance, repairs, and replacement of plant equipment and systems while maximizing productivity and quality in accordance with safety, health, and fire regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and repairs all equipment, buildings, and facilities.
  • Troubleshoots all machinery and conveyor systems.
  • Uses Pick2Light systems to analyze computer system errors, enabling maintenance to make repairs, reset faults, etc.
  • Establishes and coordinates priority work projects and repairs.
  • Performs additional job-related responsibilities as assigned to support departmental objectives and organizational success.

  • Effectively communicates ideas, information, and recommendations through presentations.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficient in WCS, DMS, BHS, conveyor PM, and MHE Systems.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) systems preferred.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
  • 2+ years of related experience or technical training.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like walking, bending, and stooping.
  • Ability to review and process shipping documents.
  • Supports process and logistics improvement initiatives.
  • Follows established safety guidelines and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (ability to work overtime as needed). 100% onsite in Arlington, TN.
