Maintenance Technician I

About the role

The Maintenance Technician I will perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, respond to equipment breakdowns, and perform repairs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:30pm - 1:00am
• 3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 10:30pm - 9:00am

Responsibilities

• Work on production equipment that includes extruders and braiders.
• Regularly inspect and evaluate equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
• Follow recommended maintenance schedule for cleaning and lubricating equipment.
• Maintain records on equipment status and maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and assets per a set schedule.
• Follow safety rules and always wear PPE.
• Perform other maintenance-related work as assigned and required.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic welding skills are a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Any training or certifications are a plus.
