Maintenance Technician I

About the role

Applies mechanical skills for the maintenance, repair, and/or replacement of all plant equipment, including piping, pumps, valves, motors, tanks, some electrical controls, pump alignment, boiler maintenance, and related systems. Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Schedule

Standard hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Additional hours may be required as necessary, including emergency "call-in" outside regular hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and replace plant equipment and systems
• Perform tasks involving piping, pumps, valves, motors, tanks, and electrical controls
• Conduct pump alignment and boiler maintenance
• Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
