Maintenance Technician-HVAC

Responsibilities
- Performs advanced maintenance on HVAC systems and facility equipment.
- Captures and resolves equipment and facility problems.
- Develops and provides recommendations for improving processes and procedures in all areas.
- Has an advanced working knowledge of maintenance practices, testing methods and equipment.
- May train, provide guidance and assist in developing lower skill level team members.
- Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy.
Requirements
- High School or GED and one or more of the following:
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience with HVAC rooftop units, central chillers, exhaust fan systems, boilers, and air compressors.
- Minimum trade school experience with preference given to apprenticeship in HVAC related field.
- Experience in refrigeration.
- Electrical panel building and electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and building automation controls.
- Experience with piping, sheet metal work, ductwork, and venting.
- Capable of lifting and transporting parts and fixtures weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Skills
Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
