We are a bursting, color-saturated, 200+ piece curated art gallery that just happens to be a world-class boutique hotel in the heart of Charleston’s French Quarter. What You’ll Do (Primary Duties)

• You’ll take ultimate pride in caring for, repairing, and preserving all areas of our historic property.
• Keep it Functioning: Inspect and perform routine maintenance across electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems (think switching fixtures, fixing faucets, and troubleshooting issues).
• Master of Aesthetics: Handle painting and drywall touch-ups to keep the property visually stunning.
• Collaborate: Partner closely with Housekeeping and Guest Services to resolve room work orders rapidly and ensure everything shines before guests notice.
• Be Proactive: Execute ongoing room preventative maintenance programs with a sharp eye for detail.

Who You Are (Job Requirements)

• Experienced: 1+ years of maintenance experience preferred (hotel/hospitality background is a major plus!).
• Certified: High School diploma or equivalent combination of experience. EPA/HVAC certification is a plus.
• Capable: Skilled with hand/power tools, self-motivated, and highly organized under pressure.
• Communicative: Fluent in English to connect seamlessly with the team and follow directions safely.
• Flexible: Ready to work a dynamic schedule based on hotel demand, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical: Able to stand/walk for an entire shift, navigate ladders, work outdoors when needed, and comfortably lift up to 75 lbs.
