Maintenance Technician - General/Forklift

About the role

We're looking for a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Technician to join our team! You'll be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks across a variety of systems and structures to help keep our facility running smoothly. If you're a hands-on problem-solver with a strong work ethic and a knack for fixing things, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• PIT mechanic for Carlisle and Sinking Spring facilities (including forklift, manlift, dock plates and dock door repairs)
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry maintenance and general building maintenance
• Perform physical PIT equipment inspections daily
• Make repairs in the facility to include painting, drywall, basic plumbing, racking, etc.
• Seasonal groundskeeping duties such as mowing grass, weed eating, general landscaping, snow removal, etc.
• Use of company truck to travel between facilities
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
• Certification: Requires a valid PA driver's license
• Training: Minimum one month on the job training required
• Experience: Previous warehouse maintenance or building maintenance experience preferred

• Ability to give special attention to detail
• Must have ability to recognize letters and numbers
• Must have strong verbal communication skills
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate Range: $25.50 - $27.50/hour (based on experience). Schedule: 6:00am-3:00pm EST. Required to travel as needed to our Sinking Springs, PA facility for maintenance as needed. Location: Carlisle, PA. Job Type: Full-Time OR Part Time - Let's discuss!
