Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician at RiverWoods in Exeter is seeking a Full Time individual to join their team. Hours are primarily day shifts from 7:30am to 4pm on Tuesday to Saturday, with occasional flexibility for snow removal and weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs and maintenance tasks, responding to Work Orders in order of priority or as directed.
• Responds to urgent requests from staff and residents in a timely manner.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance and inspection tasks.
• Responds to pull cord and pendant activations or alarms and responds to all other emergency situations as required.
• Works with emergency responders to ensure the fastest possible response time to 911 calls.
• Performs custodial functions for common areas including public bathrooms, at all times that housekeeping is not on duty or unavailable.
• Supports after-hour emergency requirements.
• May be subject to “On Call” status.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• The ability to operate a variety of power and hand tools is required.
• A basic knowledge of general maintenance and equipment repairs along with a minimum of one year experience in the field are also a requirement.
• Experience in trades is desirable.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
