Maintenance Technician - Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Works effectively within the work-order system.
  • Performs general maintenance work (light electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, HVAC etc.).
  • Proper use of tools, equipment and chemicals (hand tools such as drills, saws).
  • Delivers packages.
  • Traffic removal for common areas.
  • Aid in maintaining common areas and grounds.
  • Respond to resident service requests and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with our residents, coworkers, vendors and visitors.

Requirements

  • Familiar with emergency procedures if chemicals are misused.
  • Demonstrates the interest and ability to learn new skills and techniques as needed.
  • Demonstrates proper usage of chemicals and equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness and capability to respond to site emergencies.
  • Ability to learn software application(s) - work order system.
  • Experience with all phases of building maintenance, a plus.

Availability: Sunday - Thursday 3p - 11p
