Responsibilities
- Works effectively within the work-order system.
- Performs general maintenance work (light electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, HVAC etc.).
- Proper use of tools, equipment and chemicals (hand tools such as drills, saws).
- Delivers packages.
- Traffic removal for common areas.
- Aid in maintaining common areas and grounds.
- Respond to resident service requests and concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with our residents, coworkers, vendors and visitors.
Requirements
- Familiar with emergency procedures if chemicals are misused.
- Demonstrates the interest and ability to learn new skills and techniques as needed.
- Demonstrates proper usage of chemicals and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Willingness and capability to respond to site emergencies.
- Ability to learn software application(s) - work order system.
- Experience with all phases of building maintenance, a plus.
