Maintenance Technician (Foundry Living)

About the role

Buckingham is seeking a tenacious Maintenance Technician who demonstrates a high sense of urgency, manages priorities effectively, is coachable, and overcomes obstacles. The role is responsible for maintaining optimal resident experience, property performance, and presentation while embracing a customer‑focused approach to all projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repairs and maintenance throughout the apartment community.
• Service HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Maintain grounds, structural elements, and oversee refurbishment of apartments.
• Ensure property performance and presentation meet Buckingham’s high standards.
• Provide internal and external customer service with accountability and ownership.
• Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet resident needs.

Requirements

• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lb.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability for 24‑hour, on‑call maintenance as scheduled.
• Owned smartphone device (cell‑phone reimbursement provided).
• Strong accountability, time‑management skills, and customer‑service orientation.
• Coachability and a proactive, obstacle‑overcoming mindset.

Schedule
