Responsibilities
- Aid in implementing preventive maintenance schedules and checklists for all equipment.
- Routinely walk the facility and document areas needing repair or updates in the maintenance log.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and develop appropriate repair strategies.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, spare parts, and tools.
- Maintain a log of equipment routine maintenance and coordinate with vendors as necessary.
- Perform repairs promptly without disrupting the daily operations of the facility.
- Adhere to all safety policies, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
- Ensure adherence to building safety and security standards and GMP guidelines.
- Use common hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment and electronic testing devices.
- Communicate and uphold safety and security standards for team members.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory rules and standards, including OSHA, USDA, HACCP, FSMA, ADA, and FDA.
- Attend and complete all required equipment and certification trainings.

Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role within a food production or manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical/mechanical systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team members.
- Proven ability to make timely and effective repairs.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, environmental health and safety, and OSHA.
- Basic computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and willingness to learn new software.
- Ability to work collaboratively, independently, and adapt to a flexible schedule.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must adhere to company dress code and PPE requirements.
- Must be able to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodation.
- Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals, temperatures ranging from 90°F, and wet/dry conditions.
- May require the use of ladders.
