Maintenance Technician- Floater

About the role

This position works at two Dayton, OH area properties and one property in Middletown, OH. We are offering a $1,000 signing bonus. The role reports directly to the Community Manager and includes performing on-call duties once properly trained. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupied residential repairs
• Diagnose basic problems at the property, including appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Appliance repair and replacement
• Plumbing repairs
• Electrical repairs
• Lighting replacement
• Hardware replacement
• Painting and drywall repairs as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, Technical, or Trade School
• HVAC certification and experience preferred OR willingness to obtain license (company paid)
• Plumbing and electrical experience
• Leadership skills a plus
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Physical requirements

• Able to lift 75 lbs
• Able to climb ladders and steps
• Able to operate power equipment such as saws and drills
• Able to operate door locks

Pay

$25–$29 hourly wage
