Maintenance Technician first and second shift

About the role

Maintain and repair equipment and facilities in accordance with company standards and safety protocols. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and other mechanical equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform urgent repairs as needed.
• Follow up on completed work orders and document all activities in the maintenance log.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in maintenance or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using common tools and equipment used in maintenance work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and plumbing.
