Key responsibilities
- Ensure the effective operation of the facility by monitoring and managing the computer-based Material Flow Control System (MFCS) and physically correcting issues with the Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- To assist the Maintenance Supervisor in training, system flow improvements, help cover vacation.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Pallet flow and automated processes are controlled and executed according to plan.
- Any issues with the MFCS are resolved in a safe and timely manner.
- To objectively give reviews on operator's performance.
Requirements
- Experience Requirements: 2+ years of work experience in related fields preferred. Experience with operating Material Flow Control Systems (e.g. automated conveyors,) or Industrial Control Systems preferred.
- Physical Demands: Must be in good physical condition. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to work effectively in cold freezer environment. Must be able to climb 120ft ladder using safety harness. Will be required to wear SCBA while working, requiring employee be clean shaven.
