Job Description:Maintenance Technician - Entry Level$20 - $25/Hour | 4-Day Work Week Location: 47 Market St. Gardiner, ME 04345 Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM Walk-Ins welcome! Previous maintenance experience is helpful, but we're willing to train someone with a strong work ethic, basic tool knowledge, and a desire to learn.Why Join Us?4-day work weekThree-day weekends every weekCompetitive pay: $20 - $25/hour based on experienceOpportunity to learn a variety of maintenance and repair skillsStable, full-time positionWhat You'll DoAssist with building and facility maintenance projectsPerform routine preventative maintenance and safety inspectionsComplete basic repairs, painting, drywall patching, and carpentry tasksHelp maintain grounds, including seasonal snow removalUse hand and power tools safely and effectivelyKeep work areas clean, organized, and safeRespond to maintenance requests and support facility operationsWhat We're Looking ForMechanically inclined and comfortable using basic hand toolsWillingness to learn and take directionDependable with a strong work ethicBasic computer skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Previous maintenance, construction, landscaping, automotive, military, warehouse, or trade experience is a plus, but not required Additional Requirements & Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Performs Daily/Monthly/Quarterly Preventive Maintenance and safety checks Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. High School Diploma or GED 6+ months experience in the facilities maintenance field Excellent customer service skills. Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter; Adhere to OSHA safety regulations approved standards, policies and procedures Interface with peers, staff, vendors, contractors to appropriately resolve issues.
