Maintenance Technician - Enduro

About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform managing and operating over $300 billion of real estate in more than 265 markets globally. This Maintenance Technician position is located in Ogden, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins by completing the make-ready process.
• Accesses and returns materials and supplies from the maintenance department, and reports re-ordering needs to the supervisor.
• Documents service requests and other paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing tasks such as picking up trash, pressure-washing, cleaning, and painting.
• Supports cost-cutting initiatives by fixing rather than replacing parts and practicing proper tool usage.

Other Responsibilities

• Complies with safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings, completing required training, and reporting incidents promptly.
• Periodically inspects work performed by contractors and vendors to ensure quality standards are met.

Physical Demands

• Standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined areas.
• Working inside and outside in all weather conditions.
• Pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, or maneuvering weights up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Rare or regular travel may be required for assisting other properties, attending training classes, or other situations.
• Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Licenses or Certifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (Certified Service Technicians).
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions (all Service Technicians).
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00. Additional compensation includes participation in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance, and various benefits such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, housing discounts, sabbaticals, 401(k) with company match, parental leave, fertility benefit reimbursement, and employee assistance programs.
