Responsibilities
- Follows established paperwork procedures to establish, maintain, track and complete jobs.
- Accurately and timely produce all work as assigned by supervision.
- Affirm accuracy, timely completion of work as directed and information listed on job cards or work orders.
- Determine best possible maintenance practices and uses good techniques and judgments in work assignments.
- Report issues of a reportable nature to supervisors immediately.
- Trains and monitors new employees as requested.
- Observes facilities, machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and determine need for adjustment or repair.
- Dismantles or constructs facilities, machine or equipment to examine parts for defect or to remove defective part.
- Replaces defective part with new part or repairs or reproduces part from various kinds of metal stock.
- Assembles and test operates machine to verify correction of malfunction.
- Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment.
- Uses welding skills as needed.
- Performs all preventative maintenance.
- Completes electrical work and assignments with or without electrical drawings.
- Runs electrical circuits, bends conduit, wires into breaker boxes and switch gear.
- Runs and bends copper to connect rectifiers.
- Conducts preventive/ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting on rectifiers.
- Complies with all Arc Flash standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Vocational/Technical Education preferred.
- Minimum of two years related industrial/electrical experience and/or training.
- Minimum of two years related industrial/electrical experience and/or training.
