Maintenance Technician (DNN)

About the role

We are looking for a hardworking, intelligent person with a relentless dedication to safety, quality, and customer service to join us as a Truck / Tractor / Diesel Technician.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of commercial trucks, including welding and fabricating
• Ensuring equipment is DOT compliant
• Ensuring equipment is operational with minimal downtime
• Responsible for maintaining a culture of compliance and safety in the workplace by enforcing established policies and procedures
• Ensures a safe and clean work environment
• Able to clearly document cause, complaint, and correction on each repair order
• Diagnose and repair issues related to (but not limited to) trailers, some light mechanical on trailers and forklifts
• Able to weld and fabricate
• Must be able to complete repairs within SRT times
• Will work on other equipment as necessary
• Must be on time and present on days scheduled to work

Requirements

• Verifiable experience as a Diesel Technician
• DOT Inspector Certification
• Air Brake Certification
• Electrical experience
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to work in all seasonal temperature conditions

Benefits

• Boot Program: $150 allowance after 90 days of employment, renewed every 2 years
• Tool allowance: $500 allowance after 90 days of employment, renewed annually

Pay

$24 to $26/hour depending on experience
