About the Role

Patriot Erectors, LLC is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join the team, ensuring production and facility equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service.
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair skills for production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and make adjustments.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment and machines such as CNC Drill lines, Plate Processor, and overhead cranes.
  • Perform a range of plumbing and carpentry tasks.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
  • Detect faulty operations and defective material and report unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Participate in the safety program and maintain clean work areas.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; a degree in electrical maintenance or completion of a craft apprenticeship is a plus.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; basic math skills are essential.
  • Safe working habits, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Experience with 480 volt-3 phase electrical systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently, with heavier weight necessary at times.

Pay

$24 - $36 USD per hour (DFW Shop).
