Maintenance Technician-Day Shift

About the role

Pacific Dairy Solutions is seeking skilled plant maintenance mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the continued operation of machinery and equipment across various capacities, including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned and unplanned maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems.
• Ensure the continued operation of machinery and equipment in an electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic capacity.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in food and beverage industries preferred.
• At least 1 year of technical experience in one or more areas such as electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, PLC, HVAC, or computer-controlled equipment.
• Experience working with a variety of equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, material handling, motor/relay control, process control, and packaging equipment.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Standing, walking, kneeling, and bending for most of the shift; occasional climbing or balancing required.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Working in cold, wet, and moderate to high-noise environments with possible exposure to fumes, chemicals, or allergens.
• Flexible work schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

$30-35/hour, dependent on experience and skillset.

Schedule

Shift: Sunday-Wednesday, 5:00am to 5:00pm.
