MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Day

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly.
• Diagnose and correct mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and motor control issues.
• Inspect, operate, and test defective equipment parts, machinery, and equipment.
• Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions.
• Create maintenance record sheets for equipment.
• Record service, repair, part replacement, cost, and machine maintenance information.
• Cook up and oversee outsourced repair work with suppliers and manufacturer service technicians.
• Research parts, equipment, vendors, and OEMs to obtain quotes for needed parts and equipment.
• Stay updated on industrial electrical codes and regulations, and be familiar with OSHA safety regulations.
