Maintenance Technician - Creekview Crossing

Greystar is a leading real estate platform managing and operating over $300 billion of real estate in more than 265 markets globally. This Maintenance Technician position is located at Creekview Crossing in Sherwood, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins by completing the make-ready process.
- Accesses and returns materials, supplies, equipment, and tools according to established procedures.
- Documents and tracks service requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing tasks such as trash pickup, pressure washing, cleaning, and painting.
- Supports cost-cutting initiatives by fixing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
Other Responsibilities
- Complies with safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings, completing required training, and reporting accidents and incidents promptly.
- Inspects work performed by contractors, vendors, and other service providers to ensure quality standards are met.
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods.
- Bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
- Work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
- Push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
- Rare or regular travel may be required.
- Work a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Licenses or Certifications
- EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (Certified Service Technicians).
- All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions (all Service Technicians).
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).
Pay
The hourly range for this role is $22.00 - $24.00. Additional compensation includes participation in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance, and various benefits such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, housing discounts, sabbaticals, 401(k) with company match, parental leave, fertility benefit reimbursement, and an employee assistance program.
Schedule
This role is full-time and requires a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
