Maintenance Technician - Central Iowa

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance for facilities in the geographical region and production system in which you applied for.
• Work closely with site manager and/or production supervisor to ensure the facility operates at optimal levels.
• Utilize work ticket system to effectively track and prioritize each repair.
• Demonstrate knowledge in general construction methods including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and welding.
• Work with various hand and power tools to complete repairs.
• All duties completed while adhering to Iowa Select Farms policies and procedures.

Compensation Details

• Full time positions are paid an hourly wage, and pay periods occur biweekly.
• Pay wage is determined by experience level coming into the role, so previous experience and proficiency in areas listed above is preferred.

Requirements

• Adhering to all company biosecurity, animal well-being and safety policies.
• The ability to lift, push or pull up-to 75lbs and climb over gates up to 48 inches in height.
• Must be self-motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Availability for rotating on-call weekend responsibilities.
