Maintenance Technician C Shift

Primary Responsibilities

• Meeting timelines and productivity requirements (quantity and quality of work)
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Team-oriented, collaborative, and flexible
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Work and thrive under time constraints and juggle/prioritize responsibilities
• Required to troubleshoot manufacturing controls – PLC, AC Motor Drives, Rockwell Automation, etc.
• Read as-built drawings, blueprints, maintenance logs, and electrical drawings
• Must have a general knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting / repair
• Knowledge of repair and work on steam and pressure lines
• Knowledge of air compressors and filtration systems
• Versed in lock-out/tag-out procedures and possess a strong safety orientation mindset with demonstrated performance.

Physical Demands & Environment

• Overtime hours may be required based on work demand.
• Employee must be flexible with these hours.
• Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects over 50 pounds.
• Employee must own and provide his/her own tools.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, stoop, walk and lift throughout the shift.
• The employee may spend 95% or more of their work hours on the plant floor.
• The employee may be expected to work outside on building grounds including elevated areas. (Building Rooftops)
• Noise level in some plant locations are loud.
• The employee may be exposed to flour/sugar dust particles. The dust levels in the work environment can sometimes be elevated.
• Proper PPE is provided.

Compensation

- Hourly compensation for this position is based on skills and experience, ranging from $30.00 - $38.00
