Primary Responsibilities
- Meeting timelines and productivity requirements (quantity and quality of work)
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and flexible
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Work and thrive under time constraints and juggle/prioritize responsibilities
- Required to troubleshoot manufacturing controls – PLC, AC Motor Drives, Rockwell Automation, etc.
- Read as-built drawings, blueprints, maintenance logs, and electrical drawings
- Must have a general knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting / repair
- Knowledge of repair and work on steam and pressure lines
- Knowledge of air compressors and filtration systems
- Versed in lock-out/tag-out procedures and possess a strong safety orientation mindset with demonstrated performance.
Physical Demands & Environment
- Overtime hours may be required based on work demand.
- Employee must be flexible with these hours.
- Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects over 50 pounds.
- Employee must own and provide his/her own tools.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, stoop, walk and lift throughout the shift.
- The employee may spend 95% or more of their work hours on the plant floor.
- The employee may be expected to work outside on building grounds including elevated areas. (Building Rooftops)
- Noise level in some plant locations are loud.
- The employee may be exposed to flour/sugar dust particles. The dust levels in the work environment can sometimes be elevated.
- Proper PPE is provided.
Compensation
- Hourly compensation for this position is based on skills and experience, ranging from $30.00 - $38.00
