Maintenance Technician - Boston, MA

About the role

We are seeking an experienced handyman/maintenance technician to join our team in the greater Boston area. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of property maintenance experience and proficiency in general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, drywall, masonry, electrical and plumbing repairs, window, door, and lock repairs, painting, cleaning, snow removal, landscaping, and picking up/delivering supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks
• Carry out carpentry, drywall, masonry, minor electrical and plumbing repairs
• Handle window, door, and lock repairs
• Paint and clean properties
• Manage snow removal and landscaping
• Pick up and deliver supplies
• Work in a weekly 'on-call' rotation to handle emergencies on evenings and weekends
• Report to the Director of Maintenance on a daily basis

Qualifications

• Property maintenance experience of 5+ years (preferred)
• Proficient in general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with residents, management, and contractors
• Ability to diagnose issues and determine efficient solutions
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and performing tasks requiring physical exertion

8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday

Pay

$25 - $40 hourly
