Maintenance Technician - Bellevue, NE

About the role

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join their team at Rising View, a military housing community near Offutt Air Force Base.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs in residential homes to provide a safe and quality living environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair home systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, drywall, doors, and carpentry.
• Maintain and improve the condition of homes through preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and respond professionally to service needs.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• Minimum three years of residential maintenance, construction, or related experience required.
• Previous multi-family housing maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record required.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public.

Schedule

Full-time positions available Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Tuesday-Saturday: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. Participation in an on-call rotation is required.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, occasional lifting up to 100 pounds, and constant handling of materials weighing up to 10 pounds. It also involves frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
