Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO. The facility features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the maintenance of a safe, clean, and healthy physical environment for patients, staff, and guests of the facility.
- Maintain the organization’s grounds.
- Carry out routine building maintenance tasks.
- Prepare the facility for special functions.
- Respond in a timely manner to alarms and codes.
- Ensure the maintenance of a clean facility.
- Order, deliver, and inventory hospital supplies.
- Assist with inventory of patient belongings.
- Assist with keeping maintenance logs.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One (1) year in a hospital environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC equipment, electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and plant operations.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Ability to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures.
- Capability to adapt to varying workloads and work assignments on a constant basis.
- Possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License with a clear driving record to drive hospital vehicles.
