Maintenance Technician @ Bandon Dunes Golf Resort

About the role

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, you'll be responsible for ensuring the resort stays in top shape through routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day repairs across the resort, including replacing light bulbs, patching drywall, painting, repairing furniture, and servicing equipment.
• Work directly with Facility Maintenance Managers and respond on call when issues arise.
• Establish and manage a preventive maintenance program to catch issues early and keep the resort operating smoothly.
• Keep accurate records of every repair, including work orders, parts lists, and maintenance logs.
• Identify repairs requiring contracted vendors and report them to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain a working inventory of common parts and ensure the company vehicle is clean and road-ready.
• Adhere to safety protocols and follow established procedures.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in the trades, such as carpentry, mechanical work, or basic electrical.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills.
• A positive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, lift, and climb for up to 8 hours.
• Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in various conditions.
• A focus on safety and following established procedures.

Pay

Hourly pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Hours are Thursday - Friday, 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm, and Saturday-Monday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm.
