About the Role
Performs general, routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to maintain apartments and other assigned areas of housing buildings, units, and grounds. Also performs snow removal and pickup and delivery of supplies and materials.
Responsibilities
- Perform general and routine maintenance tasks for housing buildings and units.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
- Remove snow from premises.
- Pick up and deliver supplies and materials.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One (1) year of experience with general carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License.
- Proficiency with general carpentry and plumbing tools.
Skills
- Operation of basic carpentry and plumbing tools.
- Use of cleaning and housekeeping equipment.
- General painting skills.

Pay
Minimum hourly pay: $18.89.
Schedule
- Full-time, 80 hours per two-week pay period.
- 40 hours per week.
Preference is given to Alaska Native/American Indian applicants under P.L. 93-638.
