Responsibilities
- Assist and work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to perform necessary repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the property.
- Ensure the property is in a neat, clean, and well-maintained condition through daily exterior and interior inspections.
- Perform cross-utilized Groundkeeper duties as needed.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct minor failures to air conditioning and heating units, repair minor electrical and plumbing problems, and make units ready for market according to company standards.
- Maintain laundry rooms to company guidelines.
- Complete daily chemical inspections, maintenance, and cleaning for the pool to meet city codes and company standards.
- Ensure the property meets and exceeds resident satisfaction standards and be available for on-call emergencies (e.g., snow removal) as requested by the Community Manager.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required. Pool certification preferred; HVAC certification and boiler certification if applicable.
- Experience: One year of maintenance experience in residential properties.
- Physical & Cognitive: Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 110 pounds. Occasional squatting, reaching, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, and balancing.
