Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, common areas, parking lot/garage, and other community buildings.
- You will remove trash from office areas and community perimeter daily and from trash chutes to compactor daily or more.
- You will prepare the make-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments, prior to make-ready.
- You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
- You will clean available apartments and or models.
- You will troubleshoot/repair mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems, including HVAC.
- You will report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Property Manager.
- You will meticulously maintain the curb appeal of the community.
- You will assist office personnel with other various tasks required.
- You will assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, etc.
- You will maintain overall organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shop.
- You will report to the Property Manager.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience is preferred.
- Light carpentry, drywall repair, and texture; painting.
- Computer literacy is a plus but not required.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Outstanding customer service and embracing a shared responsibility environment.
- Must be fully vaccinated and be able to provide documentation upon hire or be able to provide a completed request for a medical or religious accommodation.
- The Maintenance Technician position is a full-time position; may be called upon to work after hours and on weekends.
- A rotating on-call schedule may be required.
- Working conditions will be outside as well as indoors.
- Physical demands will require but not be limited to the mobility to effectively complete job requirements.

The position? We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for one of our communities, Berkeley Landing – a 112-unit multifamily community located in Riviera Beach, FL.
